High-Rise and Mid-Rise Engineering

ProTec has maintained high-rise and mid-rise buildings since 1993 when two new buildings emerged in downtown San Diego, Harbor Club and City Front Terrace. Later, in 1996 ProTec teamed up with Bosa and Intracorp and helped inaugurate San Diego's residential highrise boom. Later clients included Intergulf, Douglas Wilson Company, ANKA Property Group, Leven Menzies, The Olson Company and Urban Housing Partners.

In 2001 ProTec exported it's high-rise expertise to Los Angeles where it worked with The Lee Group, The South Group, Fifield and Forrest City Development on Los Angeles's residential high-rise renaissance.

In 2003 ProTec began working with developers in Las Vegas on projects that spanned the valley. Some of our very high profile projects included Sky Las Vegas, SoHo Lofts and Sullivan Square, a 16 acre city within a city consisting of 6 residential high-rises.

In 2004 ProTec led the charge with Irvine's inaugural residential high-rise built by Bosa Development. Furthermore while working alongside Opus West for the past two years and Irvine has now given birth to its second residential high-rise, The Plaza Irvine.

In 2005 ProTec began writing manuals for developers in San Francisco, Long Beach, Portland and Phoenix on high profile projects such as 199 New Montgomery, 200 Brannan Street, The Metropolitan, Glassworks, The Essex on Lake Merrit, Aqua Towers, Waterfront Scottsdale and Pearl Lofts in Portland.

ProTec has now helped to give life to over 175 mid and high-rise projects and usher in a new era in residential homebuilding - the modern mid and high-rise..
